Where are the servers located?

ServerVendors houses its facility within Oak Tower, a major communication and carrier hub in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

I live in Timbuktu, can I host my site with you?

Yes! We currently host websites for clients in over 55 countries and we would be delighted to add Timbuktu to the list to make it 56!

What are the business hours?

Our support department works 24x7. Billing department works only on weekdays. But you can request for an emergency assistance at any time.

Will there be advertising such as banner ads or pop-ups on my website?

No. You are paying for your own web space and you are in complete control of what you put on your website. If you want to put ads on your site you can – but it is your choice completely.

How are refunds issued?

Refunds will always go to the original payment source. We would need to have the same Credit Card on file as the one that made the payment to be refunded.

Can I update details after my account is active?

Yes, you can always update your details from client area. We recommend to keep the details uptodate and accurate.

Do you take backups?

We have daily, weekly and monthly backup for Shared and Reseller plans. We don't take backups for VPS and Dedicated unless a backup addon is added.

What is ServerVendors Migration Policy?

We do free migration for all our plans. There is no limit on size or number of accounts.

Do you offer Telnet or SSH access?

By default, for security reasons, we do not provide SSH/shell access to our clients on shared, business or reseller plans.

ServerVendors Tiers of support

We offer servers that are fully unmanaged. You can upgrade to managed services any time.

What are my operation system options?

We offer a wide variety of Operating System options for all of our server types which includes linux and Windows.

My server is not working correctly - What should I do?

If you find that your server instance is not working as expected, you can check from client area or open a support ticket instantly.

What payment methods are accepted?

PayPal and Razor Pay are our main payment method. We accept all major Credit/Debit Cards via both.

Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?

No, there are no hidden costs or fees associated with having a hosting account with ServerVendors. All charges will be disclosed at time of purchase.

Can I upgrade my plan or features later?

You can purchase new or expanded features, or upgrade to a new plan at any time. There are no fees for upgrading, however you will of course need to pay the difference in the plan costs.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel the service any time. To ensure that the correct product is always set for cancellation, cancellations must be initiated through the client area.

Will I be charged after cancellation?

Typically, no. When a service is successfully canceled, any outstanding invoices would be canceled.

How can I disable auto renew?

ServerVendors all products are by default set to renew automatically. Not including Domains, the only way to prevent a product or service from renewing, is to cancel it before the due date.

How long after I sign up can I start building my site?

If your account is automatically approved, your machine user will be created and ready for uploading within 15 minutes of you signing up! If your account is not automatically approved, it will be within 24 hours.

Is there a minimum time contract/commitment required?

You may choose your terms at sign-up. No contracts are required. You may cancel at anytime, there are no cancellation fees.

Do you have a money-back policy?

You have 30 days from date of purchase to request a refund if you are unhappy for any reason, however beyond that we do not provide refunds, even if cancelling before your term ends. The money back guarantee is provided only for Shared hosting, Reseller hosting, and Business hosting.

What happens if I exceed my allocated bandwidth?

You will receive an automatic e-mail message warning you that you have reached 80% of your contracted limit. This should give you plenty of time to contact us and purchase more bandwidth. Once you have exceeded your limit, your account will be suspended for the rest of the current month.

What if my site breaks your Terms of Service?

Users' sites may be suspended for violations of policy, or if extreme, or second time offenders, sites may be cancelled. Each occurance is dealt with on a case by case basis, and we try to work things out with every client. For detail, please read our Terms of Service.

How to resolve abuse complaints

We will forward you the information about the report that we receive. We’ll follow up with you on any abuse complaints received to ensure the issue is resolved.
